Humorous adverts are used to engage the viewer by making them laugh which helps to attract them to the product being advertised and remember it.

This advert relates to the whole family as it shows a family eating their breakfast talking about the big day they have it shows the dad mum and young boy moaning about their day and then the baby goes thats nothing and shows what he does through out the day, it shows the baby destroying all the house and things.
And as this includeas a family it captures a wider range audience, there for making it more popular.
